Prairie Caravan is available to be hired for performances. You let us know what your function/event/fundraiser is and we'll discuss what would be most appropriate. Our minimum number of dancers is three, with a minimum length of set of 15-20 minutes (approximately 3-4 songs)
Some of the functions where we've danced in the past: Staff Christmas parties; Weddings; Women's Auxiliary functions and more!
Hiring a troupe of Tribal Bellydancers is a wonderfully unique form of entertainment! We can interact with your audience as much or as little as you like. For longer sets, over 20 minutes, we can teach your audience a few basic moves so they can join along in the fun. As well, we will give a short lesson on "zhagareeting" (the vocal sound that tribal dancers make that show support of their fellow dancers) as well as "hessing". This is the sound that you make to show appreciation during slow, mesmerizing songs. Make your event the most memorable party of the year!

PLEASE NOTE: We are very willing to discuss donating our time, or performing for a lesser fee, if your function is a fundraiser for what we would consider "a good cause". If this is your situation, please do contact us so we can discuss the details!
Sorry boys! We will not perform at any "Men Only" functions. Save your breath and don't bother asking!!
1. We require a private location/room where the dancers can finish putting on their costume details. To prepare for a performance it literally takes the dancers hours (between the elaborate hair and makeup which is such an important part of the costume) and there are items of our costuming that we cannot put on at home and then comfortably drive to the performance location.
2. We require payment prior to the performance, cash or cheque, sorry, no credit cards at this time.
3. We understand that occasionally timing of events don't always go as planned. For the first 30 minutes after the scheduled time that we are to perform, there is no extra charge. For every 30 minutes after that, we will charge an extra $25 fee per half hour that we have to wait.
4. We will schedule a meeting time prior to the event where one of the dancers will come to take a look at the location where we are to perform. We will take into account both the actual square footage, as well as what type of flooring we will be
dancing on. (Most of our dancers prefer to dance barefoot.)
